A Dinner Invitation With Strings

      Just minutes after posting my comments about the Biden-Paul debate I received an email invitation to an evening reception next Friday to meet Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan at a local country club. I thought the invitation was tendered because of the way I described Biden’s bullying tactics at the debate, but no, there’s a catch. It costs - - - and it’s a lot more than a ticket to a hockey game.

     The General Reception goes for $2,500 per person.

     The VIP Photo Reception goes for $10,000 per person.

     The Victory Dinner at the home of one of the sponsors costs a cool $25,000.

I’ll wait ‘till I get a coupon from GROUPON for the dinner.
