I have no idea what this blog will be about, but it won't be about food because I lost my sense of taste thru the combo of old age (87) and years of chemo. I just happen to like the photo (above) which appears on the cover of my last book, "The Adventures Of A Free Lunch Junkie". And the color of my jacket matches the background. On October 4, 2012 at 6 p.m. I showed up for the first of three sessions at the Boca Raton Middle School on "How To Set Up A Blog." There were 20 some other attendees and I was the oldest by at least 40 years. I was the only who used a cane (I did my best to hide it under the desk.) It took our teacher about 30 minutes to get the Power Point presentation working which augured ill for my new venture. Fortunately she didn't add the wasted 30 minutes onto the scheduled 8 p.m. closing because I was exhausted both mentally and physically. At the end I was tempted to call it quits for good but since I had forked out $42 for the course I decided to attend next Thursday's second session.
